An Air Canada Airbus A330-300, registration C-GFAJ performing flight AC-111 from Montreal,QC to Vancouver,BC (Canada) with 261 people on board, was enroute about 90 minutes prior to estimated landing in Vancouver when the crew declared PAN reporting the loss of the green hydraulic system and requesting to be towed off the runway. The aircraft continued to Vancouver for a safe landing on runway 26R and stopped on the runway. The aircraft was towed to the apron.

The Canadian TSB reported the green systen empennage safety valve was found leaking at the lower hydraulic fitting. The O-ring was replaced, no further leaks were observed.
