A Shaheen Air Airbus A330-200, registration AP-BMI performing flight NL-901 from Islamabad (Pakistan) to Manchester,EN (UK) with 150 people on board, departed Islamabad's runway 12 but burst a nose tyre. The crew stopped the climb at FL100 and entered a hold to assess the situation, the crew subsequently decided to divert to Karachi (Pakistan) due to weather conditions present at Islamabad. The aircraft landed safely on Karachi's runway 25L about 3:20 hours after departure.
