A Pegas Fly (former Ikar) Boeing 737-800, registration VP-BPY performing flight IK-1732 from Monastir (Tunisia) to Ekaterinburg (Russia) with 175 passengers and 16 crew, landed on Ekaterinburg's runway 26R (length 3,000 meters/9,850 feet) at 05:15L (00:15Z) but overran the end of the runway and came to a stop with the nose gear past the runway end lights, however still on the paved surface of the runway end safety area.

The aircraft needed to be pushed back by a tow tug before being able to taxi to the apron on own power about 30 minutes later.

The occurrence aircraft remained on the ground at Ekaterinburg's Koltsovo Airport for about 4 hours, then departed for its next flight.

West Siberia's Transport Prosecutor's Office reported they are looking into the occurrence when the Boeing 737-800 "went past the runway restrictive lights without leaving the ground".
