A United Boeing 737-900, registration N62889 performing flight UA-1696 from Newark,NJ to Seattle,WA (USA), was enroute at FL340 about 25nm southeast of Yellowstone,WY (USA) at about 20:26L (03:26Z May 22nd) when the aircraft encountered turbulence causing injuries to a flight attendant. The aircraft continued to Seattle for a safe landing about 90 minutes later.

The FAA reported a flight attendant received unknown injuries, the aircraft sustained no damage.
