An Emirates Airlines Boeing 777-300, registration A6-ECN performing flight EK-374 from Dubai (United Arab Emirates) to Bangkok (Thailand), was enroute near Hyderabad when a male passenger (19) suffered symptoms of a cardiac arrest prompting the crew to divert to Hyderabad for a safe landing. Medical services awaiting the aircraft could not save the patient and needed to pronounce him dead. The body was taken off the aircraft, the family travelling with him also got off the flight.

The aircraft reached Bangkok with a delay of 3.5 hours.
