A replacement A320-200 registration HB-JXD reached Nice with a delay of 90 minutes.
The occurrence aircraft is still on the ground about 5 hours after the rejected takeoff.
A ground observer reported there was smoke from the right hand engine when the aircraft taxied out for departure, the aircraft initiated the departure roll but rejected takeoff and returned to the apron.
