A Southwest Boeing 737-700, registration N232WN performing flight WN-484 from Baltimore,MD to Providence,RI (USA), departed Baltimore's runway 28 when the crew, just before being handed off to departure, reported a bird strike and they would need to return to the aerodrome and requested tower to have a look at them to check whether tower could see anything off the right side of the nose. Tower closed runway 28, the aircraft was vectored for runway 33L and landed safely back about 20 minutes after departure.

A replacement Boeing 737-700 registration N284WN reached Providence with a delay of 100 minutes.
