An Air Canada Boeing 787-800, registration C-GHPT performing flight AC-851 from London Heathrow,EN (UK) to Calgary,AB (Canada), was enroute at FL360 about 60nm west of Dublin (Ireland) when the crew decided to return to London due to an electrical smell observed in the cabin. The aircraft landed safely back in London Heathrow about 50 minutes later.

The aircraft remained on the ground for about 4 hours, then departed again and is estimated to reach Calgary with a delay of 6 hours.
