A Lufthansa Airbus A320-200, registration D-AIPH performing flight LH-1841 from Rome Fiumicino (Italy) to Munich (Germany), departed Rome's runway 25. While descending towards Munich the crew reported a possible problem with one of the right hand main tyres and requested emergency services on stand by. The aircraft landed safely on Munich's runway 26L and taxied to the apron with emergency services in trail.

The occurrence aircraft is still on the ground in Munich about 11 hours after landing.
