A Lufthansa Airbus A340-300, registration D-AIGW performing flight LH-514 from Frankfurt/Main (Germany) to Cancun (Mexico) with 251 passenges, was enroute at FL340 about 5nm north of London's City Airport,EN (UK) when the crew decided to return to Frankfurt due to problems with the air conditioning systems on board. The aircraft landed safely back in Frankfurt about 1:50 hours later.

A replacement A340-300 registration D-AIGO departed about 3 hours after landing and reached Cancun with a delay of 5 hours.
