An Icelandair Boeing 757-300, registration TF-FIX performing flight FI-501 from Amsterdam (Netherlands) to Keflavik (Iceland), was climbing out of Amsterdam when the crew stopped the climb at about FL270 and descended back to FL250 initially reporting problems with the cabin pressure. The aircraft returned to Amsterdam for a safe landing on runway 18R.

The aircraft remained on the ground for about 3 hours, then departed again and reached Keflavik with a delay of 4 hours.

A passenger reported: we turned around for what the Captain called a "pressurization problem". Back on the ground the captain announced the problem was found and fixed, and the aircraft departed again.
