Germany's BFU confirmed they received information about that incident, the cockpit voice and the flight data recorder have been secured and are being processed, further information is being collected before a classification of the occurrence is being made.
Germanwings told The Aviation Herald: "Wir haben den Vorfall der zuständigen Behörde gemeldet." (We have reported the occurrence to the responsible authority).
