A TAP Air Portugal Airbus A320-200, registration CS-TNR performing flight TP-432 from Lisbon (Portugal) to Paris Orly (France) with 36 passengers, was climbing out of Lisbon when the crew stopped the climb at FL220, descended the aircraft to FL110 and returned to Lisbon. On short final to Lisbon's runway 35 the aircraft went around from low height, positioned for another approach to runway 03 and landed safely about 40 minutes after departure and 5 minutes after the go-around.

The airline reported a sensor indication prompted the crew to return to Lisbon.

On Dec 10th 2015 a passenger reported that there was a loud bang in flight and the aircraft started to violently shake for some brief time, the airspeed dropped sharply during that time, a sound similiar to air rushing around an extended landing gear was heard until landing. About a minute later the crew initiated the return to Lisbon. The crew made an announcement about a sensor problem. The passenger believed that the landing gear extended uncommandedly when the loud bang occurred. Later on the aircraft positioned for a low approach to Lisbon to have the landing gear inspected from the ground, landed safely and taxied to a hangar, where they disembarked. The passenger stated, there was more to this occurrence than just a sensor problem, after landing he observed a good number of mechanics surrounding the right main gear.

A replacement Airbus A320-200 registration CS-TNV reached Paris with a delay of 2 hours.
