A China Southern Airbus A321-200, registration B-6265 performing flight CZ-6483 from Shenyang to Hangzhou (China), was enroute near Qingdao when the captain's windshield cracked prompting the crew to divert to Qingdao for a safe landing.

A replacement A321-200 registration B-2283 reached Hangzhou with a delay of approximately 6 hours.

The occurrence aircraft resumed service the following morning about 24 hours later.
