A Ryanair Boeing 737-800, registration EI-EBD performing flight FR-9834 from Frankfurt Hahn (Germany) to Valencia,SP (Spain), was enroute at FL360 about 40nm south of Paris Orly (France) when the crew reported hydraulic problems and decided to divert to Brussels Charleroi (Belgium). The aircraft descended to FL320 initially, turned north and landed safely at Charleroi Airport about 45 minutes later.

A replacement Boeing 737-800 registration EI-DCK reached Valencia with a delay of 4 hours.

The airline reported: "This flight from Hahn to Valencia (27 Oct) diverted to Charleroi shortly after take-off when a warning light indicated a possible hydraulic oil problem. The aircraft landed normally, customers were transferred to a replacement aircraft while Ryanair engineers repaired the fault and cleared the aircraft for return to service."

The occurrence aircraft resumed service the following morning after 14.5 hours on the ground.
