A United Boeing 787-800, registration N29907 performing flight UA-1614 from Houston,TX to San Francisco,CA (USA), was enroute at FL400 about 140nm southeast of Albuquerque,NM when the first officer became unconscious prompting the captain to divert the flight to Albuquerque. The aircraft landed safely on Alburquerque's runway 08 about 25 minutes later. The first officer, who had regained consciousness, walked off the aircraft assisted by paramedics and was taken to a hospital.

A replacement crew continued the flight after about 4 hours on the ground in Albuquerque and reached San Francisco with a delay of 3.5 hours.
