A Lufthansa Cityline Canadair CRJ-900, registration D-ACKB performing flight LH-2347 from Graz (Austria) to Munich (Germany), was descending towards Munich when the crew reported a technical problem and requested to enter a hold. The aircraft entered the hold at FL100, the crew subsequently reported they had a gear problem, the gear was now down but there were strange noises, they wanted to perform a low approach preferably on the left runway to have a look onto the gear, technicians of Lufthansa have also been dispatched to have a look at the gear. The aircraft positioned for the low approach to runway 26L leaving the hold after about 40 minutes, climbed back to 5000 feet declining an instruction to accelerate to 220 KIAS and advising that due to their gear problem maximum speed was 200 KIAS and landed safely on runway 26L about another 20 minutes after the low approach with a total delay of 60 minutes. The aircraft was towed to the apron.
