A Yamal Airlines Canadair CRJ-200, flight YC-162 from Novosibirsk to Tyumen (Russia) with 38 passengers and 3 crew, was on approach to Tyumen when the crew could not deploy the flaps to landing configuration and aborted the approach. Working the checklists the crew was able to extend the flaps and continued for a normal landing.

Ural's Transport Investigative Commission reported the flaps could not be fully extended, the fault removed itself, the aircraft landed in normal mode. An investigation has been opened.
