A Perimeter Aviation de Havilland Dash 8-300, registration C-GLKY performing flight 4B-107 from Winnipeg,MB to Red Sucker Lake,MB (Canada), was climbing out of Winnipeg's runway 36 when the crew selected the gear up but received a #2 hydraulic pump caution indication and the landing gear did not retract or extend. The crew declared emergency, worked the related checklists which engaged the Power Transfer Unit. The crew was subsequently able to lock the gear down again and returned to Winnipeg for a safe landing on runway 36.

The Canadian TSB reported an examination revealed the #2 hydraulic pump had failed. The pump was replaced.
