A Thomas Cook Boeing 757-300, registration G-JMAA performing flight MT-1017 from Larnaca (Cyprus) to London Gatwick,EN (UK), was climbing through FL250 out of Larnaca when the crew declared PAN reporting problems with the cabin pressure and requesting to descend to FL100. The aircraft returned to Larnaca for a safe landing about one hour after departure.

The aircraft remained on the ground over night for about 20.5 hours, a number of passengers tweeted they were left without information, no representative, no water, nothing. The aircraft subsequently departed Larnaca and is estimated to reach London with a delay of about 21:15 hours.
