German media initially reported poisoneous gasses, in particular carbon monoxide, as cause of the occurrence. There was not one report from passengers or media suggesting there had been an odour on board (carbon monoxide can not be smelled).
The airline reported three passengers reported feeling unwell, the cause was unclear, no anomaly had been found with the aircraft.
The airport reported there had been no evidence of carbon monoxide on board of the aircraft or passengers being affected by carbon monoxide.
The Aviation Herald received rumours suggesting there might have been formaldehyde involved.
In the view of the completely conflicting information The Aviation Herald concluded to not (yet) report the occurrence, with the possibility of just a medical emergency outside our coverage on hand and no evidence of an aircraft related influence onto the health of the passengers.
On Jul 28th 2015 the French BEA reported in their weekly bulletin, that there had been an odour in the cabin. There were no injuries resulting from the occurrence. Germany's BFU rated the occurrence an incident and is investigating the occurrence.
