A Swiss Global Airlines Avro RJ-100, registration HB-IYT performing flight LX-460 from Zurich (Switzerland) to London City,EN (UK), was climbing out of Zurich's runway 28 when upon contacting Zurich Radar the crew requested to maintain FL120 due to an issue, they would continue to follow the standard departure route. The crew subsequently advised, they had talked to their maintenance department and decided to continue to destination. About 5 minutes after levelling off at FL120 the aircraft continued the climb but levelled off again at FL200 reporting they had an engine computer problem and could not continue to destination, it would still be normal operation though. The aircraft returned to Zurich for a safe landing on runway 14 about 30 minutes after departure.

The flight was cancelled.

A passenger reported the aircraft was about 20 minutes into the flight when the crew announced they had an "issue with the computer managing one of the engines and had to control it manually".
