The airline confirmed a DH8A landed on the taxiway in Bodo, an internal investigation into the serious incident is under way.
Norway's Statens Havarikommisjon (AIBN) confirmed the incident reporting that the occurrence was rated an incident because there was no other traffic on the taxiway thus no immediate danger, an investigation has been opened nonetheless.
AIP Norway added a note "Caution: Do not mistake parallell twy to the south for main rwy" to the aerodrome chart released in 2010, that is still current (see below).
