A Sky Regional de Havilland Dash 8-400, registration C-FSRJ performing flight RS-7527 from Montreal,QC to Toronto City,ON (Canada) with 29 people on board, had climbed to cruise level 200 and levelled off about 100nm westsouthwest of Montreal when the crew declared emergency reporting a propeller had oversped. The aircraft returned to Montreal for a safe landing about 30 minutes later.

Canada's TSB reported that the crew, while attempting to adjust engine power to cruise power, inadvertently adjusted the propeller pitch control causing both propellers to run away. The crew returned the aircraft to Montreal, vacated the runway and shut down both engines. The aircraft was towed to the apron.
