An Easyjet Airbus A319-100, registration G-EZIB performing flight U2-5409 from London Gatwick,EN (UK) to Berlin Schoenefeld (Germany), was climbing out of Gatwick's runway 26L when the crew stopped the climb due to the gear not retracting. The aircraft returned to Gatwick Airport for a safe landing on runway 26L about 30 minutes after departure.

A passenger tweeted: "Trotziges Fahrwerk wollte länger draußen bleiben" (editorial translation: stubborn gear wanted to remain in the open for longer)
