An AirAsia X Airbus A330-300, registration 9M-XXE performing flight D7-376 from Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia) to Taipei (Taiwan), was descending towards Taipei when the crew received a fire indication for the right hand engine (Trent 772) and worked the related checklists. The aircraft continued for a safe landing on Taipei's runway 05R and stopped for an examination by emergency services, who found no trace of fire or smoke.

The occurrence aircraft remained on the ground for about 3 hours then departed for the return flight D7-377 and reached Kuala Lumpur with a delay of 100 minutes.
