A Spicejet Boeing 737-800, registration VT-SPP performing flight SG-160 from Jammu to Srinagar (India) with 176 people on board, was on approach to Srinagar when a bird impacted the aircraft. The aircraft continued for a safe landing at Srinagar.

The aircraft was unable to continue its schedule and is still on the ground in Srinagar about 10 hours after landing.

The airport reported the bird impacted the nose of the aircraft.
