A Southwest Airlines Boeing 737-300, registration N390SW performing flight WN-1544 from Seattle,WA to Saint Louis,MO (USA), was enroute at FL350 about 20nm northwest of Omaha,NE (USA) when the crew initiated an emergency descent due to the loss of cabin pressure, passenger oxygen masks deployed. The crew decided to divert to Omaha and requested a number of ambulances to meet the aircraft reporting 11 passengers in the back of the cabin needing medical attention. The aircraft landed safely on Omaha's runway 14R about 25 minutes after initiating the emergency descent. 9 passengers were treated at the airport with minor injuries and were able to continue the flight. A replacement Boeing 737-700 reached Saint Louis with a delay of 4:50 hours.
