An EAT Leipzig Boeing 757-200 on behalf of DHL, registration D-ALED performing freight flight QY-6296 from Leipzig (Germany) to Warsaw (Poland), had landed on Warsaw's runway 33 at about 06:40L (05:40Z) and was taxiing southbound on the taxiway parallel to runway 33 towards the apron.

A Brussels Airlines Avro RJ-100, registration OO-DWG performing flight SN-2560 from Warsaw (Poland) to Brussels (Belgium), was accelerating for takeoff from runway 29 at 06:43L (05:43Z) when the crew rejected takeoff "due to crossing traffic".

The RJ-100 was able to depart about 10 minutes later and reached Brussels on time.

On Apr 10th 2015 Germany's BFU reported in their December bulletin that two aircraft, a Boeing 757-200 and an Avro RJ-100, were involved in a serious incident at Warsaw, when one of the aircraft rejected takeoff "due to crossing traffic".
