A Korean Air Boeing 777-200, registration HL7766 performing flight KE-73 from Seoul (South Korea) to Toronto,ON (Canada), was enroute at FL370 about 220nm eastnortheast of Winnipeg,MB (Canada) and about 640nm northwest of Toronto when the crew decided to divert to Winnipeg due to a female passenger in her fifties suffering from symptoms of a heart attack. The aircraft landed safely in Winnipeg about 42 minutes later, the patient and her husband were taken to a hospital, the woman however had to be pronounced dead upon arrival in the hospital. The aircraft reached Toronto with a delay of 2:45 hours.
