A Cebu Pacific Airbus A320-200, registration RP-C3264 performing flight 5J-475 from Manila to Bacolod (Philippines) with 104 passengers and 6 crew, was climbing out of Manila's runway 06 when the aircraft received a bird strike prompting the crew to level off at 2500 feet and return to Manila for a safe landing on runway 06 about 15 minutes after departure.

A replacement Airbus A320-200 registration RP-C3261 reached Bacolod with a delay of 2:15 hours.

The CAA Philippines identified RC-C3260, radar data however identify RP-C3264 performed the flight and returned to Manila.

The occurrence aircraft was able to resume service about 3.5 hours after landing.
