A Pegasus Airlines Boeing 737-800, registration TC-AAR performing flight PC-284 from Amsterdam (Netherlands) to Antalya (Turkey) with 189 people on board, has just reached cruise FL350 about 135nm east of Amsterdam when the passengers oxygen masks were released. The crew decided to return to Amsterdam without requesting priority or assistance, performed a normal descent reaching FL120 about 17 minutes later (average rate of descent 1350 feet per minute) and entered a holding. The aircraft landed safely on Amsterdam's runway 06 about 47 minutes after leaving FL350.

The airline reported a technical malfunction, the cause is under investigation.

The aircraft was able to depart again as flight PC-18 to Antalya after 10 hours on the ground and reached Antalya with a delay of 12 hours.
