An Air Berlin Airbus A321-200, registration D-ALSB performing flight AB-3224 from Dusseldorf (Germany) to Malaga,SP (Spain) with 118 passengers, was enroute at FL350 about 25nm south of Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport (France) when the crew initiated an emergency descent (average rate of descent 3375 fpm) to FL080 due to the loss of cabin pressure. The aircraft diverted to Toulouse for a safe landing about 40 minutes after leaving FL350.

The airline confirmed the crew initiated a controlled descent and diverted to Toulouse after the cabin pressure reduced.

A replacement Boeing 737-800 registration D-ABME reached Malaga with a delay of 7 hours.

The occurrence aircraft is still on the ground in Toulouse about 10 hours after landing.
