A Cityjet Avro RJ-85 on behalf of Air France, registration EI-RJF performing flight WX-1016/AF-1016 from Paris Charles de Gaulle (France) to Dublin (Ireland), had departed Charles de Gaulle's runway 09R and was on approach to Dublin when Dublin Airport started to send all arriving aircraft into holds keeping runways 10 and 16 sterile for the arrival of the RJ-85 with the intention to have RJ-85 land on 16 and subsequently other traffic land on runway 10. The crew reported it was suspected they blew a tyre on takeoff from Paris and might need to declare emergency later on. The aircraft landed safely on Dublin's runway 16 about 30 minutes after Dublin started to send other traffic into holds, emergency services followed the aircraft onto the runway and reported that indeed a tyre had been blown.

The airline confirmed a blown tyre.
