A Jetblue Embraer ERJ-190, registration N236JB performing flight B6-1994 from Nassau (Bahamas) to Fort Lauderdale,FL (USA), was on final approach to Fort Lauderdale's runway 10L when after receiving landing clearance the crew requested medical assistance to meet the aircraft at the gate due to a laser beam hitting the aircraft. The aircraft landed safely on runway 10L and taxied to the apron.

The FAA reported the first officer received an "unknown eye injury".
