A Jazz de Havilland Dash 8-300, registration C-FJVV performing flight QK-8792 from Montreal,QC to Saint John,NB (Canada) with 47 passengers and 3 crew, was climbing out of Montreal when vibrations were felt for about 10 to 15 minutes. The crew engaged the autopilot in pitch mode while investigating the source of the vibrations, the speed began to gradually decrease. When the aircraft levelled off at FL240 about 80nm south of Quebec City,QC (Canada) the speed had decayed to 110 KIAS and the stick shaker activated causing the autopilot to disconnect. The crew pitched the aircraft down, descended the aircraft to FL230 and subsequently diverted to Quebec City for a safe landing about 35 minutes after the stick shaker.

The Canadian TSB reported that the cause of the vibration is still not identified.
