Passengers reported they heard a bang before the aircraft entered the runway but did not mention any further anomaly until the crew announced they were returning to Las Palmas due to tyre debris having been found on the runway.
The airline reported a normal landing occurred after a tyre got damaged. The flight was cancelled, the passengers taken to hotels. A replacement aircraft was expected to take the passengers to Trondheim the following day.
