The flight was cancelled.
Passengers reported the crew announced the cabin pressure became too low, they therefore needed to stay at low altitude. After landing the left hand engine cowl was opened by maintenance.
The airline reported the aircraft experienced a maintenance issue.
The aircraft flew to Newark the following morning as flight UA-2056 and reached Newark with a delay of 24 hours.
