An Expressjet Canadair CRJ-200, registration N844AS performing flight EV-5106 from Atlanta,GA to Wilmington,NC (USA), was climbing through FL290 out of Atlanta when the crew decided to divert to Columbia Metropolitan,SC (USA) due to concerns with the cabin pressurization. The aircraft landed safely in Columbia about 15 minutes later.

A replacement CRJ-200 registration N883AS reached Wilmington with a delay of 3 hours.

The FAA reported the aircraft diverted as a precaution over concerns with the cabin pressure.
