A Westjet Boeing 737-700, registration C-GWSP performing flight WS-115 from Calgary,AB to Vancouver,BC (Canada) with 70 people on board, was in the initial descent from FL400 towards Vancouver when the aircraft encountered turbulence causing an injury to a flight attendant. The aircraft continued to Vancouver for a safe landing about 30 minutes later.

The Canadian TSB reported the flight attendant was unable to continue duties, the duties were distributed amongst the other two flight attendants.
