A BMI Regional Embraer ERJ-145, registration G-RJXE performing flight BM-1782 from Toulouse (France) to Bremen (Germany), was on approach to Bremen when the crew could not extend the flaps and continued for a safe landing on Bremen's runway 27 at a higher than normal speed. Emergency services checked the brakes before the aircraft continued to the apron.

A passenger reported that only after the aircraft had been shut down the crew announced that they did have a flaps problem on approach. A number of passengers, shuttling between the Airbus facilities in France and Germany, had already recognized earlier that something was amiss, when the gear was lowered without the flaps having been moved.
