A First Air Boeing 737-400, registration C-FFNF performing flight 7F-866 from Kuujjuaq,QC to Iqaluit,NU (Canada) with 19 people on board, had just reached FL350 when the crew needed to initiate an emergency descent to 10,000 feet due to the loss of cabin pressure and returned to Kuujjuaq for a safe landing about 55 minutes after departure.

The Canadian TSB reported that the aircraft was ferried to Ottawa,ON where tests were conducted with no fault detected. Following a successful test flight the aircraft was returned to service.
