An Air Canada Airbus A319-100, registration C-GBIJ performing flight AC-182 from Vancouver,BC to Montreal,QC (Canada) with 120 people on board, was accelerating for takeoff from Vancouver's runway 26L when the crew rejected takeoff reporting an engine (CFM56) stall. The aircraft stopped on the runway while the crew assessed the situation, then the crew requested to taxi to the apron, no assistance was needed.

The Canadian TSB reported the right hand engine suffered a compressor stall and was replaced.
