A JAL Japan Airlines Boeing 767-300, registration JA620J performing flight JL-827 from Tokyo Narita (Japan) to Dalian (China) with 172 people on board, was climbing out of Tokyo's Narita Airport when the crew stopped the climb at FL110 due to the cabin not properly pressurizing and decided to return to Tokyo. The aircraft entered a hold at FL060 and landed safely back in Tokyo about 70 minutes after departure.

A replacement Boeing 767-300 registration JA614J reached Dalian with a delay of 4:45 hours.
