An Expressjet Canadair CRJ-200 on behalf of Delta Airlines, registration N856AS performing flight EV-5467/DL-5467 from Albany,NY to Detroit,MI (USA) with 54 people on board, was climbing out of Albany when the crew stopped the climb at FL260 and continued the flight in direction of Detroit. About 20 minutes later, about 40nm west of Buffalo,NY (USA), the crew decided to divert to Buffalo reporting two of their three generators had failed. The aircraft landed safely in Buffalo about 20 minutes after the decision to turn around and divert to Buffalo.

The remainder of the flight was cancelled.
