A Swiss International Airlines Airbus A319-100, registration HB-IPY performing flight LX-1472 from Geneva (Switzerland) to Prague (Czech Republic) with 125 passengers, was in the initial climb out of Geneva's runway 05 when the crew stopped the climb at 7000 feet reporting a bird strike into the left hand engine (CFM56) and returned to Geneva for a safe landing about 30 minutes after departure.

The aircraft remained on the ground until Jun 28th and resumed service in the morning.
