A Transavia Boeing 737-800, registration PH-HZF performing flight HV-6116 from Malaga,SP (Spain) to Amsterdam (Netherlands), was descending through about FL150 towards Amsterdam when the microphone got stuck disabling airtraffic control to hear any other aircraft or issue instructions to other aircraft. Air Traffic Control requested the crew to not acknowledge their instructions via radio but by identing the transponder. The crew managed to release the microphone and switch to the other communication box after about 4 minutes, at which time air traffic control was able to resume communication with all aircraft on frequency. All aircraft reached their destinations for safe landings without further incident.

The occurrence aircraft remained on the ground for about 3 hours before resuming service.
