An Air Canada Airbus A320-200, registration C-FKPT performing flight AC-414 from Toronto,ON to Montreal,QC (Canada) with 152 people on board, was climbing out of Toronto when the crew received a low quantity indication for the yellow hydraulic system. The crew declared emergency, stopped the climb at 10,000 feet and returned to Toronto for a safe landing on runway 23 about 30 minutes after departure. The aircraft stopped on the runway for an inspection.

The Canadian TSB reported maintenance replaced the yellow system's EDP line.
