A Swiss Airbus A320-200, registration HB-IJD performing flight LX-1267 from Copenhagen (Denmark) to Zurich (Switzerland), was in the initial climb out of Copenhagen's runway 22R when a bird impacted the radome of the aircraft. The crew, not detecting any abnormal handling or performance of the aircraft, continued the flight to Zurich, where the aircraft landed safely on runway 14 about 80 minutes later. A postflight inspection revealed the bird had penetrated the radome and got stuck at the lower right hand part of the radome.

The airline reported the bird impacted the aircraft during climbout from Copenhagen, penetrated the radome, damaged the weather radar and became stuck in the radome.
