An Eva Air Airbus A330-200, registration B-16302 performing flight BR-2197 from Tokyo Narita (Japan) to Taipei (Taiwan) with 192 people on board, was accelerating for takeoff from runway 16R when the crew rejected takeoff at low speed and stopped on the runway. The aircraft was towed to the apron, the runway was closed for 48 minutes.

The aircraft was able to depart again about 2 hours later and reached Taipei with a delay of 1:45 hours.

Japan's Ministry of Transport reported the crew received a low tyre pressure indication which was determined false.
